Saturday, April 10th, 2010, Ignite Models Inc, V2 Nightlife, FutureTime Productions and City Pages are pleased to present ENVISION: Artopia Spring 2010, an exciting evening where Live Art, Fashion, Music, and Hairstyling will blossom into the can't-miss-event for the spring fashion season. Debuting just days before MN Spring Fashion Week begins - ENVISION: Artopia Spring 2010 will be held Saturday, April 10th, 2010 in the ballroom of the Graves 601 Hotel with 100 percent of the silent auction proceeds benefiting the Young Survival Coalition, a breast cancer research fund.
Over 1200 of the Twin Cities' most fashionable will be dressed to impress as they watch Ignite Models float down the catwalk during two exhilarating high-fashion runway shows. For the fifth-installment of ENVISION, models will be attired in extraordinary spring collections from several Twin Cities based designers and boutiques including: Amanda Christine, Arwyn Birch, Bumbershute, Cliché, Drama, Jenny Carle, Ellsworth Menswear, Kjurek Couture, Local Motion, OPM Boutique, Peloria, Sarah M. Holm, Rose White, Russell Bourrienne and V-State. Rocco Altobelli will provide hair and make up for the models. Wardrobe styling will be provided by lead stylist Alice Sydow with Ivegotyourstyle.com.
DJ Real Talk Radio (Anthem Heart) will provide music for the evening with a mix of house, rock & electro for the runway shows, along with a live performance by spectacular live vocalist Dajae, coming in from Chicago just for the occasion.
ENVISION: Artopia Spring 2010 will also feature an Interactive Hair Show featuring stylists from Rocco Altobelli. They will collaborate with the 8 local designers, in an environment where the stylists will actually work in from of the audience. Each designer will produce an iconic item that embodies their spring line, and they will be paired up with one of the stylists, whose responsibility will be to complete the look. They will draw inspiration from the designers and show the crowd their ability to truly embody the clothing through the hair.
A glamorous panel of fashionista Celebrity Judges including Metro's Style Editor Mary O'Regan and Freelance Stylist/Fashion Writer Jahna Peloquin will pick their favorite spring collections from the show, and the winning designers will receive a free photo shoot to highlight their upcoming line compliments of Ignite Models.
Doors will open for VIP early entrance at 8:00pm which will include a sampling of fine wines and small bites from local Twin Cities Restaurants. At 9:00pm, doors will open for general admission and the Interactive Hair show will begin. The runway show will be in two parts - the first at 10:00pm and the second at 11:00pm. Throughout the entire evening, there will be various live art elements taking place for guests to enjoy.
The event will end at 12:00am, and then guests are invited to the Official After-Party at the Lounge Nightclub (within walking distance {411 2nd Ave N, Minneapolis]) where DJ Real Talk Radio and Dajae will keep the party going until 2:00am. A hand stamp from ENVISION: Artopia Spring 2010 will ensure complimentary entrance into the hottest after-party in town at the swankiest warehouse district venue - The Lounge.
