Saturday, April 10th, 2010, Ignite Models Inc, V2 Nightlife and FutureTime Productions, in conjunction with City Pages are pleased to present a phenomenal Fashion, Music, Art that incorporates food, drinks, live music, theater, and fashion into one exciting evening.
The must-see event for the spring season will debut just days before MN Fashion Week begins - ENVISION ARTOPIA: Spring 2010 will be held on Saturday, April 10th in the ballroom of the Graves 601 hotel. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Young Survival Coalition, a breast cancer research fund.
Over 1200 of the Twin Cities' most glamorous fashionistas, glitterati, urban gangsters and all around trend setters will flock to the ballroom of the Graves 601 to observe exquisite Ignite Models during two exhilarating runway shows. For the fifth-installment of ENVISION, models will be attired in extraordinary spring collections from several Twin Cities based designers and boutiques including: Kjurek Couture, Arwyn Birch, Re-evolution by Sarah Holm, Jenny Carlyle, Rose White, Amanda Christine, Peloria, Russell Bourienne, Cliché, Drama, Elsworth Menswear, Bumbershute, OPM Boutique, Local Motion, and V-State.
DJ Real Talk Radio will provide a mix of house, rock & electro for the runway shows, along with a live performance by spectacular live vocalist Dajae, coming in from Chicago, IL.
There will be a designer and boutique "walk off". An illustrious panel of Local Celebrity Judges (TBA) will pick their favorite spring collection from the show, and the winning designer will receive a free photo shoot to highlight their upcoming line. Judges will be voting on the best overall line and looking for the most cohesive, original design, with the best styling.
Guests will also sample signature dishes from local restaurants and sip on chic cocktails while enjoying live painting, sculpture, music, and performances from dance groups and local theater.
Doors will open for VIP early entrance at 8:00pm which will include restaurant sampling and wine tasting. The interactive hair show will take place from 8:00 - 9:45pm. The runway show will be in two parts - the first at 10:00pm and the second at 11:15pm. The event will end at Midnight, and then all guests will be invited to the Official After-Party. A hand stamp from ENVISION ARTOPIA: Spring 2010 will ensure complimentary entrance into the hottest after-party in town at the swankiest warehouse venue.
